Wash 1 kg of fruit (like mango, apple, or amla) thoroughly and cut into small pieces.
In a large pan, add the fruit pieces and enough water to cover them. Boil until the fruit becomes soft.
Drain the water and keep the boiled fruit aside.
In the same pan, add 1 kg of sugar and 1 cup of water. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
Add the boiled fruit to the sugar syrup and cook on medium heat until the syrup thickens.
Add 1 teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix well.
Turn off the heat and let the murraba cool down.
Once cooled, transfer the murraba to a clean, dry jar. Store in a cool, dry place.
