Take 500 grams of green peas, fresh or frozen, and rinse them thoroughly.
Boil the peas in a pot with enough water to cover them for about 10-15 minutes until they are soft.
Drain the peas and reserve some of the water.
Transfer the peas to a blender, add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and a handful of fresh mint leaves.
Blend the mixture until smooth, adding the reserved water as needed to achieve the desired consistency.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Serve the green pea puree warm or chilled as per your preference.
