Clean and pat dry 500 grams of fish fillets. Make slight incisions on them for the marinade to seep in.
In a bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste, and salt as per taste to make the marinade.
Apply the marinade evenly on the fish fillets and let them rest for 15-20 minutes.
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium flame.
Once the oil is hot, place the marinated fish fillets in the pan.
Fry each side for about 3-4 minutes or until they turn golden brown and are cooked through.
Once done, remove the fish from the pan and drain on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with a wedge of lemon on the side.
