Take a fresh bun and slice it into two halves.

Apply about 20 grams of butter on both the halves. Make sure the butter is at room temperature for easy spreading.

Heat a tawa or pan on medium flame and place the buttered buns on it.

Toast the buns until they turn golden brown. Be careful not to burn them.

Once done, serve the bun maska with a hot cup of chai.
