Soya Chaap Masala
Soya Chaap Masala is a delicious and protein-rich North Indian dish made with soya chaap cooked in a rich and creamy tomato-onion gravy.
Ingredients: Soya chaap, Coriander powder, Tomato, Cooking oil, Onion, Ginger garlic paste, Dairy cream, Garam masala, Coriander, Cashews, Red chilli powder, Turmeric powder

Soak 200 grams of soya chaap in warm water for 15-20 minutes, then drain and cut into 2-inch pieces.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and shallow fry the soya chaap pieces until golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté 1 finely chopped onion until golden brown.

Add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn soft and mushy.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of garam masala. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

Add 1/4 cup of cashew paste and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Add 1 cup of water and bring the gravy to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Add the fried soya chaap pieces to the gravy and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Add 1/2 cup of fresh cream and mix well. Cook for 2 more minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with roti, naan, or rice.
