Peda
Peda is a popular Indian sweet made from mawa (khoya) and sugar, flavored with cardamom and garnished with pistachios. It's a melt-in-your-mouth dessert perfect for festivals and celebrations. Ingredients: Mawa, Ghee, Pista, Bura, Cardamom powder

Take 250 grams of mawa (khoya) and crumble it into small pieces.

Heat a non-stick pan on low flame and add the crumbled mawa to it. Cook the mawa for 8-10 minutes, stirring continuously to avoid sticking to the pan.

Once the mawa becomes soft and slightly changes color, add 100 grams of powdered sugar and mix well.

Continue cooking the mixture on low flame for another 5-7 minutes until it thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder and mix well. Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool down to room temperature.

Grease your palms with a little ghee and take a small portion of the cooled mixture. Shape it into a round, flat peda.

Press a few chopped pistachios onto the top of each peda for garnishing.

Repeat the process with the remaining mixture to make more pedas.
