Falooda
Falooda is a delightful and refreshing Indian dessert beverage, made with a combination of sweet basil seeds, vermicelli, milk, and rose syrup, topped with a scoop of ice cream. Ingredients: Milk, Basil seeds, Rose syrup, Vermicelli, Ice cream, Sugar, Cherry, Dry fruit

Soak 2 tablespoons of sweet basil seeds (sabja seeds) in 1 cup of water for 20-30 minutes until they swell up.

Cook 50 grams of falooda seviyan (vermicelli) in boiling water for 3-4 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

In a saucepan, heat 500 ml of milk and add 3 tablespoons of sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Allow the milk to cool down to room temperature.

In a tall glass, add 2 tablespoons of rose syrup at the bottom.

Layer the soaked sweet basil seeds on top of the rose syrup.

Add a layer of cooked falooda seviyan (vermicelli) on top of the basil seeds.

Pour the sweetened milk into the glass, filling it almost to the top.

Top the falooda with a scoop of your favorite ice cream (preferably vanilla or kulfi).

Garnish with chopped nuts (pistachios or almonds) and a cherry, if desired. Serve immediately with a long spoon and a straw.
