Chicken Lababdar
Chicken Lababdar is a rich and creamy Indian dish with succulent pieces of chicken cooked in a flavorful tomato-based gravy, perfect for special occasions or weekend indulgence.

Marinate 500 grams of boneless chicken pieces with 100 grams of yogurt, 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder, and salt for 30 minutes.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan and cook the marinated chicken until it turns golden brown. Remove from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and sauté 1 finely chopped onion until golden brown.

Add 1 teaspoon ginger-garlic paste and cook for 2 minutes.

Add 2 cups of tomato puree, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1 teaspoon red chili powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, and salt. Cook for 10 minutes on medium heat.

Add the cooked chicken pieces to the gravy and cook for another 10 minutes.

In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon of butter and add 1/2 teaspoon of kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves), 1/4 cup of fresh cream, and 1/4 cup of grated paneer. Cook for 2 minutes.

Pour this mixture into the chicken gravy and cook for another 5 minutes.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
