An omelette is a delicious and versatile breakfast dish made with eggs, vegetables, and cheese. It's a perfect way to start your day with a protein-packed meal.

Crack 4 eggs into a bowl, add 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of milk, and whisk well until the mixture is smooth and slightly frothy.

Finely chop 1 small onion, 1 small tomato, and 1 green chilli. Grate 50 grams of cheese (optional).

Heat 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of oil or butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and green chilli, and sauté until the onion turns translucent.

Add the chopped tomato and cook for 2-3 minutes until it softens. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Pour the egg mixture over the cooked vegetables in the pan, ensuring it spreads evenly. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges of the omelette start to set.

Sprinkle the grated cheese on top of the omelette (optional). Fold the omelette in half and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts and the omelette is fully cooked.

Gently slide the omelette onto a plate and serve hot with toast or paratha.
